Eric Koehler - PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, Certified Dry Needling
Eric has been improving the lives of patients in pain for over 25 years as a Physical Therapist in Oshkosh. In order to provide the latest advances in pain relief and movement science he recently completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2017. This is the highest level of clinical training in the Physical Therapy profession, and is only attained by 1% of all Physical Therapists. This dedication to helping patients has prompted him to develop a team of experts who treat the whole person in both mind and body. Eric’s mission is to provide non-surgical, non-drug approaches to help individuals overcome pain and weakness to help them get back to enjoying their family, work, and exercise/sports.
Eric is proud to call Oshkosh home, and the place where he and his wife raised their three children. He enjoys hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, weight training, and spending time up in the north woods at the family cabin. As a lifetime learner Eric can always be found reading research and books on skills to improve the health and well being of his patients.
Lori Schaetz - OTR, CLT
Lori has been helping patients improve their health by reducing pain and increasing flexibility and strength for over 25 years. She is able to help dramatically reduce inflammation, swelling, and edema-even in the most challenging cases through her specialists as a Certified Lymphatic Therapist. Lori especially enjoys helping patients reduce the weight and burden of inflammation that is associated with medical illness, surgery, and after cancer procedures. Lori has served as a mentor to Occupational Therapists in a nationwide network as a Level Three Mentor. This level of teaching is achieved by only a select few therapist in the nation. Her patients quickly realize her care and compassion for assisting in healing and recovery. Her patients quickly realize she is a fierce advocate for their health and wellbeing as they navigate through difficulty health conditions.
Lori grew up in the city of Wautoma and resided in Oshkosh for 30 years, where she also raised her four children. Lori loves to spend time with her significant other, Mike, her children, and her granddaughter. She enjoys watching her family participate in sports. As a volunteers she records sports statistics and monitors sports injuries. In her free time, Lori enjoys golf, helps out at a local golf course with event planning, and holds classes to educate the public on health issues.
Kelly Ashbeck - PT, DPT
Dr. Kelly Ashbeck has 12 years of outpatient Physical Therapy experience with a special interest in persistent pain. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, he attended the University of La Crosse and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree in 2008. He completed an Orthopedic Residency Program in 2013 and became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2014. He has since mentored residents in Specialized Physical Therapy Education's Orthopedic Residency program and assists with their Pain Education unit. In 2020, Dr. Kelly became the chair of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association's Opioid Taskforce and has presented on the Opioid Crisis in both community and professional settings. Outside of the clinic, he continues to read on pain assessment and treatment as well as further educating himself on the opioid crisis and diseases of despair. He prides himself on truly taking a Biopsychosocial approach to Physical Therapy management. In other words, he cares about you the person and not just the ailment you present with.
In his free time Dr. Kelly enjoys educating himself on current and past world affairs, landscaping, and visiting local restaurants and craft brewery's. He has now lived in the Fox Valley area for a few years with his wife, daughter, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
Erika Paulsen - Director of Promotions
Erika grew up in Oshkosh and moved back after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Platteville in 2016 with a degree in Business Administration. Her specialty area is Integrated marketing. Erika has worked in customer service positions for over 7 years. She enjoys connecting with people and is excited to promote the wellness opportunities here at the clinic. In her free time she likes to read, hike, and horseback ride. She is recently married to her husband, Jared, and is planning on furthering her education this spring with a Masters of Business Administration. One of her biggest dreams is to live in the country, own and train her own ex-racehorse.
Paige Rilling - Customer Care Coordinator
Paige grew up, went to high school, and currently resides in Omro. She loves living in a small town and being close to her family. She graduated high school a semester early and went to school in a Dentist Assistant Program. She has worked in the customer service field for 12 years and enjoys interacting with people on a daily basis. Paige loves wine, her dog, and winter, as one of her favorite activities is going up north to snowmobile.
Kelly Smith - Customer Care Coordinator
Kelly grew up in Minnesota before moving to Oshkosh in 2006 with her family. She attended the local high school and is one of four children. Kelly went to school for childhood education and worked in the profession for 10 years. She is passionate about being around kids, and helping all people. In her free time Kelly likes to go to the farmers market with her husband and daughter, go shopping, and being a stay at home mom!
Cory Koehler - Finance Intern
Cory was born in Oshkosh and has lived there his whole life. He is currently attending Marion University in Fond Du Lac and working to earn his degree in Bachelor of Business Administration of Finance and Accounting. He also plays on their collegiate soccer team as a Goal Keeper. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his long-term girlfriend, where they enjoy visiting state and local parks, eating Sushi, and playing board games with their families.
