Dr. Eric Koehler

PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, Certified Dry Needling

Eric has been improving the lives of patients for over 25 years as a physical therapist in Oshkosh. In order to provide the latest advances in pain relief and movement science, he recently completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2017. This is the highest level of clinical training in the physical therapy profession and is only attained by 1% of all physical therapists.

This dedication to helping patients has prompted Eric to develop a team of experts who treat the whole person in both mind and body. Eric’s mission is to provide an approach without the use of medications, injections, or surgeries to help people overcome their pain and weaknesses to get them back to living life their way — enjoying family, work, sports, and exercise.

Eric is proud to call Oshkosh home and the place where he and his wife raised their three children. He enjoys hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, weight training, and spending time up in the north woods at the family cabin. As a lifetime learner, Eric can always be found reading up on research and skill books to improve the health and well-being of his patients.

Dr. Rebecca Van Heuklon

Rebecca has been working as a physical therapist for over 10 years. Through the Gray Institute, she’s taken extensive continuing education including a 40-week mentorship to become a Fellow of Applied Functional Science, and received a certification in Functional Manual Reaction. This training allows Rebecca to look at each person individually and use a global approach to treat the body as a whole system rather than individual parts. She has a passion for studying how the body functions as a chain to help identify the root cause of symptoms and movement dysfunction in order to achieve long-term results with her patients, allowing them to get back to doing the things they love.

In recognition of her professionalism, compassion, and technical skills, Rebecca was selected to receive the 2019 American Physical Therapy Association Wisconsin Physical Therapist of the Year award.

When Rebecca is not working with her patients in the clinic, she spends her time with her son, taking road trips with her husband to explore national parks, and doing Sudoku puzzles.
